Okay, I give up. My sources on this subject are irreconcilable. One would think the prevailing winds in the Caribbean would be from the north east, i.e. the trade winds. A number of other sources, however, including people who actually sail there, tell me the wind blows from the south east year round. The pilot guides tell me it changes - from south east in the summer to north east in the winter. Anybody care to solve this riddle for me?
