I know, I'm horribly behind with absolutly everything that's happened in this community, so first I'm back with apologies, and, if anyone wants to shout at anyone you're quite welcome to go rave at my university.:D

So, here's a quick drabble to start to make up for it.

Prompt #9: Leaving
Title: At The End Of All Things
Rating: PG
Authors Note: Set after AWE, imagining a scenario that probably won't happen.


It was done, over, finished, ended, pick a word; he didn’t care.

His coat was soiled. Black, patchy in places - it could be blood, could be something else considering how the recent past had panned out. He pulled it heedlessly from his body, dropping it to the ground as though it were nothing to him. It would be a lie to say it was. It had, until recently been everything he thought he wanted, but no more.

He walked a few paces, stopped. Turned his head slightly, seeing the celebration behind him. Then, James Norrington walked out into the downpour, never to be seen again.
