Will + The Dutchman-y stuff
So, just re-watched the ending with Will & Elizabeth on the beach. Will looks up & says 'Almost sunset.'
What happens if Will decided to be contrary & stay on the island? Would he just disappear & appear back on the Dutchman? Does he automatically turn tentacly? I don't think he can die just from that...
Also, the Pearl crew, Jack & Barbossa send Elizabeth off on that little lifeboat to this island to meet Will. They act as if though it's goodbye forever - how does Elizabeth get off of that island? It didn't looked to be really inhabitated; does she just row off in that little boat?
I know she probably doesn't go back to Port Royal, since there's zero for her there. What could a Pirate King [Queen?] do in Port Royal besides leave it again? :)
I actually gained a new respect for Elizabeth watching the part where Will is stabbed by Bootstrap. After thinking about it for a moment, I realized that she really had lost everyone that was remotely important to her - when she's shouting 'Don't leave me!' at Will - since her Dad is gone, James has just been killed & now Will is leaving her, too. The fact that she doesn't have a bizarro flip out on Jack when he pulls her away was pretty amazing.
