The time is upon us.....
Whee! Less than two days till the release of AWE on DVD! I know what I'm doing on Tuesday!
I was looking through Bring me that Horizon: the making of Pirates of the Caribbean (an absolutely gorgeous book), and I found this interesting little tidbit:
It's talking about the charts that lead to World's End, and other places, and how it was designed by James Ward Byrkit, the conceptual consultant on Pirates. "There are also paintings of several creatures, both real and mythological, on the map, including a dragon, a tiger, and a small creature who, curiously, resembles a legendary mouse. When asked about it, Byrkit smiles michievously and says 'There are some secrets on the map that are beyond even my understanding!'"
