so i watched the "whacking day" episode of the simpsons yesterday, and it features the funniest exchange, ever.

"look at this, everyone -- twelve dead snakes!"
[everybody boos, having been won over by bart and lisa]
mayor quimby:
"i'm sick of you people! you're nothing but a bunch of fickle mush-heads!"
random townsperson:
"he's right!"
