Hmmm
We put in an application for the Newton place. And now, for a pro/con list:
Cons:
- Moving to a new city
- The Kitchen. It's enclosed. Like a bedroom. Or something.
- Linoleum kitchen floor.
- Electric stove.
- Coin-op laundry
- Low ceilings
- Using the Pike much more. At $1 a pop.
- I'll need to change my CharlieCard to include Express Buses. An increase of $30/mo.
- Increased distance from Methuen and JR
Pros:
- Maeg's daily commute will go from thirty minutes to ten minutes!
- Deleaded and safe for child (98% of apartments are not deleaded, thus making our search substantially more difficult)!
- I can take the 502 Express Bus into Copley instead of bus -> train!
- Dishwasher!
- Garbage Disposal!
- Heat and Hot Water are included in rent!
- Tons of closet space (...tons!)
- Nice little alcove for the catbox to reside in!
- Ten-minute drive to Trader Joe's!
- No landlord to worry about!
- No rent increases!
- Cable in every bedroom!
- Huge master bedroom (that fits more than just our bed!)
- Proximity to Finn (2.1 miles!)
- 24-hour IHOP (fact is stranger than fiction!)
