Oh, David Yates. Fuck you. Fuck you up the ass. First, you crap on "Order of the Phoenix" and call it artistic direction or some shit by purposely removing whatever you felt like from the film, but NOW I just got wind that homeboy's new take at the HP franchise is going be PG rated.
WHAT?!
WHYYY?!
Wasn't I just talking about this a month or so ago about how in an ideal world, they'd make these final ones rated R for violence and scary themes? (Lets throw in some language in there too!) Look, I'm not stupid. The whole point of films are to make money. An R rating means that no under 17 can see it without a guardian and even though the books at this mark are definately adult themed, most parents are more willing to let the kiddies read the books (which they obviously did, since those eleventh billion copies didn't sell themselves) than take them to an R rated movie. Ya know what I'm sayin'? An R rating is an almost guaranteed risk at losing a chunk of their demographic, and less people seeing the movie means less money. Grr. Fine, whatever. I'm fine with a PG 13, but PG is too far.
The Half Blood Prince is not some Cinderella bullshit! Sectrumsempra, anyone? People get their faces mauled off by werewolves in the final fight scene! And DUMBLEDORE. Can you possibley make his epic murder scene PG in any way? Harry (along with the audience) is supposed to be traumatized by this shit. GOD!
I is be pissed, y'all.

In other news, Ty Pennington and his demotion crew are in El Paso builing a house for Home Makeover and the local news will not shut up about it. Today was demolition day and you can stream it live on the local news' website! Whatever. I haven't watched the show in a few years, but I'll check it out when it airs.
