a random lady just paid for my takeout breakfast sandwich! am I still in nyc?
I had no cash on me, just cards, and there was a minimum amount for cards. I was going to just cover the difference by purchasing sodas, but then the woman behind decided to just cover the $4. she said she knows how it is to only have a card on her and someone once did it for her. wow. anyhow, I think I thanked her at least 3 times, I was so shocked at someone randomly doing that, especially in this city full of jaded people.
this, 2 weeks after getting screamed at by the cabbie. life is certainly interesting.
