work work work
Last night I went on an awesome blind double date. I was totally myself and he seemed to enjoy it and not be wierded out. This guy is also maybe 1 inch taller than me so that's a first (being all of 5' 2"...almost). My friend is gunna fish tomorrow and either offer my number to him or see if he feels repulsed by the idea. If hes cool but doesnt take it, I'll just add him as a facebook friend and slowly work up the courage to ask him out again. I REALLY liked him. Basically that's fhe first REAL date I've been on since Mark left that I honestly enjoyed.
Tonight at work, I got hit on and "offfered" to several guys. It was good for my ego after my date last night where I'm already feeling happy with life again. Granted at least the mexican kid could care less. He would have taken any white girl with green eyes that would let him screw around. But I was pretty standoffish and he got the hint pretty fast I wasn't impressed with his "subtle" hints such as "can I get a date on the side with that" and "what time are you off?" Its wierd. Can't usually get attention from white guys, but mexicans have this thing for me I'm short, and have green eyes.....wierd.
My friend Stephen got back from his mission in July. He's back up here at BYU and i sent him a message on facebook guilting him for not coming by to say hi. So we played phone tag yesterday, then texted today and he's supposed ott call me @ 5 on Friday. XD Let me just say, he is pretty dang good looking. BUT our moms are like best friends --> we're like brother and sister. We got to be good friends in high school cause just like Mark didn't go to my school, his girlfriend wasn't there either. So we related to eachother there and bonded. Anyways, a good guy but just like Ryan, not interested in anythign romantic. esp when he knows how crazy I am for Mark. I'm assuming part of our conversation on Friday will entail him asking the classic question "so whats going on with you two?" Its rather intimidating...the last time he saw me I was barely 18...now I'm almost 21....so old. Lol. And if I may say, dressing more...girly than before.
