my life is so blessed.
sitting at the kitchen counter this morning with trev and meggo and my mother, laughing and eating and singing along to golden oldies, i realized this in a very simplistic, but highly profound way.
silly to say, but the best way i can sum it up, as well as with my consistent fears, is a line from "V for Vendetta"
the woman who died, who wrote the notes to natalie portman says "i am not regretful. i had two years of no apologies. and i had roses."
and once again, i've realized that no matter what happens... to anyone... i have lived a truly blessed life. and for the years that i have had that were wonderful, i'm grateful.
