Cane-toading - for or against?

So. I'm in Tweed Heads with my family and the boy, and as you all probably know, there are cane-toads up here. They're a massive pest and kill pets and wildlife and whatnot, that much is agreed upon.

What's NOT agreed upon is the method in which a decent human being should employ in order to exterminate these pests. The RSPCA's method is catching the cane toad, putting it in a plastic bag or some such, and then taking it home, whacking it into your freezer and leaving it a coupla hours.

Another popular method (and the mackenzie's preferred), is grabbing a nine-iron, creeping up behind them and playing Tiger Woods.

This is illegal in parts of queensland, my family is at a stale mate as to whether this is the case in tweed, but regardless, if someone who's "against" catches you, the RSPCA scratches you from their christmas card list.

If i had to choose between being a tiny animal kidnapped and manhandled by very, very big animals, traipsed around for an hour or so in terror and an unfamiliar environment, and then trapped in an icy box to get colder and coldr until i died, or just being hit very hard, and very suddenly, from behind, I would definately choose the latter.

I'm sure some of you are probably sympathetic to the RSPCA's method...what d'ya reckon? I won't bite you, I don't really care. It's not cos I get joy out of killing things or anything...

I just really enjopy helping the environment out :D THAT'S why it's so much fun.

Now I'm off to watch some bloodthirsty scenes of mutilated orcs and Gollum being tortured...SUCH a good movie.
