1. What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
Became an A student in college, became financially stable, landed several paid photoshoots that were not with friends/family, flew in a plane alone, traveled alone, met my grandmother, saw Colorado Springs, saw Las Vegas, went to an overnight camp (as a volunteer, but I never went to one as a kid either), went wedding shopping with a friend, learned how to do yoga, joined a gym (although that become too expensive), started meditating, uh wow.. I think that's all.

2. Did you keep any New Year's resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make it, and I don't plan to. Although I do plan to attempt the jar idea going around the internet - put one good thing that happened to you each day written on a piece of paper into a jar and read them at the end of the year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Kristin!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully, no.

5. What countries did you visit?
None, as usual.

6. What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
You know, 2012 was pretty dang good... I'd like to have more adventure in my everyday life, in addition to the big adventures.

7. What date from 2012 will remain etched in your memory and why?
I don't have any exact dates, but my trip is a big one.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Going outside my comfort zone, in so many ways... all of which were worth it!

9. What was your biggest failure?
Nothing huge, I am still a messy person.. so I failed at my goal to be better about that I guess. And I got a B, hahaha.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing more than a bad cold.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Plane tickets. Aside from that, my first smart phone.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I don't know, I guess I could celebrate Rose because we became close friends this past year.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled/depressed?
Thankfully, no one did anything awful.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills, food, adventures.

15. What did you get really, really excited about?
Starting school! And again, my trip.

Happier, Thinner, Richer. Huh... go me?

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Cleaning, creating.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Bickering, worrying.

20. How did you spend Christmas and how will you spend New Year's Eve?
Spent Christmas with hot cocoa, movies, and Zech. Will spend New Years with Zech and Jessica, probably just hanging around the apartment.

21. Did you fall in love in 2012?
No, but I am still in love.

22. Did your heart get broken in 2012?
Nope

23. What was your favorite TV programme?
Breaking Bad, Lie To Me, How I Met Your Mother, Psych

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I guess it's not as strong as hate, there is a guy a friend of mine is dating that could use a good slapping though.

25. What was the best book you read and/or movie you saw?
The Hunger Games books, didn't watch a lot of new movies.

26. What was your greatest discovery?
This vegan place called Cornbread Cafe. On a less tangible level, a sense of independence

27. What did you want and get?
Another chance at college.

28. What did you want and did not get?
A little bit more inner peace, but I am working my way there.

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
I can't believe it, but I really didn't watch any new movies....

30. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
I got lunch at El Super Burrito with Zech, then had a get together in the party room at Yogurt Extreme where we played Wii games. I was 25.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not sure, I think I had a good amount of those things going for me this year.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept of 2012?
Colorful, more put together and fashionable than usual, slightly feminine but comfy.

33. What kept you sane?
Friends, for sure.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Nate Ruess from Fun.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
All of the human rights issues.

36. Who was the best new person you met?
My grandma, of course. Also I met a few awesome people in school, but the some of the best people were the people I grew closer to, like Rose.

37. Who did you wish you did not meet?
No one.

38. Who was your best friend?
Hilary, Michelle, Jessica, Rose

39. Who was your enemy?
No one, I guess.

40. Who do you miss?
Michelley. Hilary for the last few months because I see her much less now that she lives on the coast.

41. Who will you never forget?
I don't think I'll forget any of the people I was close to this year.

When you really want to do something, it becomes much easier.

44. What will you always remember about 2012?
It was the first year in a long time that I felt I was making progress towards my personal idea of success, which is largely based on being happy with who I am and pushing myself so that I continue to grow.
