Um, okay. I am sitting here typing this, as the tv is on and our rubbish is being collected having a little cry. Because of this photo of the High street side of the Link Center (the building I was in,and I went out the Hereford entrance)
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/image.cfm?c_id=1&gal_objectid=10708400&gallery_id=116954#7385038 My friend works at Diva, which is the on the right of the photo and that's what she saw. Oh my god. She was seriously freaked out about me, and when they pulled a woman out she made her co worker go and look to see if was me.
It's one thing to hear about it, but to actually see what it is like is another. And I think that is what is upsetting me. And that a man was killed there.
I'm okay, and everyone I know is okay.
Also, on top of everything I get a library notice email telling me that the Devilish Lord, Mysterious Miss by Annie Burrows is overdue and if I don't return it I'm going to rack up a fine. Great. Atleast it's a bit of a doozy title to rack fines up on! The email also says that I can return it to any Christchurch City Library.
Edit: okay, so the link is being annoying. If you do get it working, it is the 26th photo. I had to refresh the page a couple of times before it worked for me.
