The Glitter Band get it wrong
The Glitter Band played a gig in London
recently with The Priscillas. The Priscillas'
fan base is mainly made up of young girls, so
when the Glitter Band got up on stage they were
faced with something of a jailbait audience.
New lead singer (and Gary Glitter double) John
Springate gave a heartfelt speech thanking the
audience for giving them a chance, as they'd had
such a tough time, "for reasons I won't go into".
He then launched into Leader Of The Gang, and at
its climax reached into the audience, picked out
a young looking 17 year-old Priscillas fan...
and gave her a really big snog.
