I'm pretty sure I haven't posted in this journal since September of LAST YEAR..... hmmmm.
I still check my Flist every day? Does that count?
Ok, here's an update on my life: Work. Sleep. Work. See boy. Work. Work. (repeat 200000 times)
Now that you are updated, we can move on.
The newest thing going on in my life is that I've been cast in EKU's production of "Beauty and the Beast" as Babette, the French feather duster that's involved with Lumiere. I'm mainly excited about this because our costume designer isn't renting anything, so I'm going to have an awesome costume that's specifically made for me and my boobs curves.
tookish_girl, I shall see you there, yes? Perhaps
onecheekyhobbit as well? Just to warn you, this show will most definitely sell out cause of families and the fact that it's a recognizable Disney show, so if you guys want some tickets, let me know and I'll reserve some for you guys. The show will run February 24-27 @8:00 and Feb. 28 @2:00.
I'm excited to have something outside of work to be doing. I've been getting in that horrible rut of just living to work, and that's downright pitiful, but there are bills to pay and sometimes it can just become the foremost thing in your mind. However, that's not a good mindset for a Pisces like me to be in for a long time, so it's good to be in a show to fulfill that side of me as well.
The main reason I'm finally making a post is that I put my iTunes playlist on shuffle and so far it's been humorous to see what has come up, and I thought of that meme where you list your first 20 songs while your playlist is on shuffle and so here mine is:
Playlist on shuffle
1) Eminem- The Way I Am
2) Ryan Adams- My Love For You Is Real
3) The Beatles- Hold Me Tight
4) Yeah Yeah Yeahs- Shame and Fortune
5) The Beatles- Within You Without You
6) The White Stripes- White Moon
7) The Lions Rampant- Do You Feel It
8) Ben Folds- Still Fighting It
9) Chris Thile- Empire Falls
10) Radiohead- Sulk
11) Rufus Wainwright- Oh What A World
12) Dave Matthews Band- Too Much (Live)
13) The Beatles- All Together Now
14) Sweeney Todd (OBRCR)- Pirelli's Miracle Elixir
15) Kanye West- Good Life
16) Dixie Chicks- Easy Silence
17) The Beatles- All You Need Is Love
18) Title of Show (OOBCR)- Nine People's Favorite Thing
19) The Beatles- I Am The Walrus
20) Assassins (OBRCR)- Unworthy of Your Love
Am surprised at only having three songs from musicals show up.... not so surprised at the five Beatles songs on here, and I just giggle at Kanye West being followed by The Dixie Chicks.
Oh, and just to clarify-
OBRCR: Original Broadway Revival Cast Recording
OOBCR: Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording
... aren't you glad I abbreviated those? lol ;-)
eta: I am a smart person and looked at the wrong calendar in my phone and thought that Feb. had 31 days in it...... thanks
