almost every week there's a clue in the times crossword puzzle related to the movie "the thin man." there's three in today's puzzle alone. i liked it too, but really will shortz, what's going on here? anyway if you have trouble with the crossword just see this movie, it will improve your clue-answering ability exponentially.
