There are a handful of albums that I can listen to straight through & usually I'll use my old, portable CD player in lieu of my mp3 player. Other than it appealing to my laziness by being handier than loading an album (& at some point, deleting an album), it almost feels nostalgic, as if I should be sitting by a fire with some brandy, smoking a cigar (...mmm, your grandmother was a hoe...). I wonder if this is how vinyl audiophiles feel about their record players (I have one but have been too lazy to add it to the various relays I've setup & I don't want to start buying vinyl records). The comparison came to me when I had to clean the dust off of my CD player, brandy glass, cigar cutter & fireplace.
This is a sketch for a scratchboard & I have a pattern in mind for the abdomen, but I'm stuck on how to bring the rest of the body out without resorting to its negative.
