Quick Mod Post
It's the first of the month and there should probably be purges right about now. There are a few people who are running the risk. But because I'm feeling nice and a little lazy this month we won't be doing any purges. We will, however, be sending some emails and notes out to people who are not posting and not even commenting. Hell, they're just not around period!
With that said I would like to point out something. And this will be placed in bold capitals so that people might take notice of it more. CAN YOU PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR JOURNALS ALLOW PM'S FROM THE MOD ACCOUNT. SETTING THEM TO FRIENDS ONLY DOES NOT WORK. IF THE MODS NEED TO CONTACT YOU THAT IS THE BEST WAY. It's to a point now I'm wondering if I should just have everyone friend the mod journal. ^^ Actually, you all do need to make sure that you have an up-to-date friends list. Go to the Quick Add-List on the main comm and just add everyone. I'd suggest you defriend everyone else that isn't in the comm but that is your choice alone.
Now on to some other business. We have been wondering about staging a little competition. Nothing big, a ficlet competition. Possibly something to do with valentines day. Something sweet and romantic. Since prizes are hard to cater to we though possibly buying some paid time to character journals or to your own journals, or extra user pics or... something simple like that. It is only a bit of fun. But it would depend on if anyone is interested. So... is anyone interested in a Valentine Theme'd Fic Writing Contest?
