For someone who's final destination was a cemetery, Jirou looked surprisingly upbeat. He was smiling - beaming - and had a skip in his step. He was wearing a over-sized hoodie, warm and comfortable, with his hands in the pockets and the hood up over his curls. It wasn't because it was really cold, or because he wanted something to hide in. He had just wanted to wear it.

Approaching the cemetery, he could see people who had already started to arrive. He sort of hoped that this would be at least a little scary, but, even if it wasn't, it was going to be fun.

"Yo," Niou smiled at the boy who came bouncing down the road towards him. "You're excited about this, huh?" He offered him a map and a candle. "Good, we need all your enthusiasm."

"This better be scary, Niou~" Jirou grinned, taking the offered map and candle. The blond wasn't one to scare easy, though, so he was curious to see how everything would play out.

"Actually," Niou smiled secretively. "I wasnt the only one who prepared it. Someone else did. YOu know old man Kurushi?" He asked everyone.

The blond looked thoughtful for a moment, as though to give an affirmative before he said, with his grin still set in place: "Nope. Never heard of him."

Taka has heard of him. He turned his eyes slowly towards Niou. "You don't mean KURUSHII, the care taker of these grounds? The one who looks like he's been dead for 100 years?"

"Oooooh, that guy," Jirou laughed. "Yeah, I heard of him." Only from conversations overhead from classmates when he'd been napping around school and town this time of year.

Niou nodded. "This idea, wasn't from me entirely. I come here sometimes and know him quite well. Why? Don't ask. But he offerd us this place to play in tonight. I had prepared in advance but he said he wanted us to have the time of our lives and added a few more things which I have no idea about. SO, if WE do survive tonight....we have a story to tell."

"Do I get the money when I scare you?", Akaya asked grinning from behind Jirou before he stepped closer again. "But I heard of him too. Creepy old man. Never talked to him though... could be interesting", he mused.

"He's telling the truth, kid~~" Chinen chimed in, finding amusement in watching someone who thought they were scary try and mess with Hyoutei's often hyperly excited and cheerful blonde. "Trust me on that~~ I've been going to school with Sir Sleepsalot since we both entered high school, and all my efforts to scare him only ended up getting him more excited to see more~~" He had long ago forgotten how many times he had tried to pull jokes on the narcoleptic boy that were of the more frightening and sometimes rather disturbing nature. But the blonde only ever ended up getting impressed and excited...or disappointed when it didn't live up to his usual expectations from the Okinawan. As such, Akutagawa still remained one of the few in Hyoutei that Chinen had yet to accomplish in actually scaring. And that was an impressive feat in Chinen's eyes ( ... )

Akaya turned around to see... a chest. He had to look up to see who he was talking too. Ah it was that one Higa guy.

"Heee? Mah. It's fine with me either way. That would mean less headache for me", he just shrugged and ran his left hand through his black messy hair.

"Well then I guess you'll have much fin Akutagawa-kun. Too bad that Marui-senpai isn't here", he grinned. And stretched himself a bit.
