Akira couldn’t see himself in an office job. Or one where he had to deal with people and have to be polite about it. Here you could say whatever you wanted to the people ordering drinks because the music was so loud they probably wouldn’t hear you and they were so drunk they probably couldn’t understand you. Plus you got to listen to free music at an awesome volume all night long.

Handing two bottles of a cheap Chinese beer to someone that looked underage but had pulled out a pretty convincing ID, Kamio’s attention was immediately sought as three other people all tried to place orders. It was a rush, but he could never complain of being bored as he grabbed more drinks to hand out and counted money, telling one guy to get lost when he tried to hand over what was obviously a fake note.

Maybe it was a bad idea, maybe not, but he had threatened to do just this to his fiancé, he'd just never had the opportunity until now. So there he sat, at a table in a darkened corner, watching Akira from a distance. When he could, of course. The club was packed and he could only catch glimpses of the man he loved when the crowds around the bar thinned out.

Takeshi felt like such a spy, sitting there, head in his hand and watching his redhead like he was. More than once he'd had to shoo people away from him, a group of girls had sat with him randomly for a few minutes when he'd first entered the club. He'd been nice and entertained them for a few minutes until one hand tried to feel him up, then he did something he possibly shouldn't have. He'd leant in close to whisper in her ear, he'd told her in detail just what he was gay... They'd soon scattered. That had given Takeshi a few laugh but now he was alone, and watching, and thinking that maybe he'd watched enough and it was time go and see him.

Akira didn’t need a clock to tell him that the club was going to close soon. The crowd was starting to thin out as the people with respectable jobs that needed to be up in the morning sensibly left. And Kamio was starting to get tired. Once it started slowing down was when the late hour caught up with him, and his feet reminded him he’d been standing up for too long.

Handing over four alcopops to a bleach blonde girl who could have better spent the money getting her roots done, Akira leaned against the counter for his first rest of the night. It had been a rush so he’d not been able to slip off for a break but now at least he could rest a little.

Getting to his feet, Takeshi finally made his way to the bar. The crowds had thinned even further, which was his cue to get up there and surprise Akira. Slipping between a few people, he covertly nudged someone else out of the way and crossed his arms upon the bar, leaning against it with a small smile curving his lips. Down the bar Akira was leaning, looking tired. More than anything Takeshi wanted to wander down there and give him a hug, maybe take him home and treat him to a warm, pampering bubble bath and a massage. He started to laugh, his thoughts sounded very, very feminine to him. The only thing missing would have been the scented candles and essential oils.

There was a second wind as people, sensing the evening was winding down, bought their last drinks of the evening. For a few minutes Akira was rushing around getting drinks until his co-worker dropped a bottle of Budweiser. For a second people laughed and Akira offered to help but was shooed away instead to serve people.

Because they were a man down while the guy cleaned up the beer, Akira wasn’t really paying attention to what he was doing. It was hard enough usually to hear the orders and while already a zombie from tiredness he set himself on autopilot.

Takeshi wasn't one of the people laughing when the bottle was dropped, his first instinct was to hop over the bar and help out before someone injured themselves. But it looked like it was being taken care of and, unfortunately, it also seemed that things had gotten busy again. This was going to be impossible. He thought about hopping the bar again... but then Akira was coming his way and... walked right past him.

This time Takeshi did start to laugh, a low chuckle of amusement. It must have been the first time he'd not been noticed by his fiancé since they'd started going out. But he did look so tired... When Akira came back his way, he made a gesture to get his attention. "Hey, do you guys do black coffee here?" he asked with a wide grin.

A few more orders later and Akira’s attention was once again called, and he blinked. “Uh, sorry I don’t think so…” It was an odd request as people were pressed so close together a warm drink would end up spilled and burning someone. He turned to find a supervisor but there was no one about so he turned back. “We have loads of…” He trailed off and blinked again as he realised just who he was talking to. His cheeks reddened as it dawned on him he’d just had a conversation with his fiancé, the guy he loved more than anyone in the world, and hadn’t realised who it was!

“You…I can’t believe you!” He said, though couldn’t hide his smile. After a long night of work it was amazingly good to see his lover. “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be at home, getting some rest?” Now he was trying to avert the attention from the case of mistaken identity. Maybe Takeshi hadn’t noticed?

Oh, he'd known from the get-go that he wouldn't get a coffee, and even if he did he didn't like it black. That was Akira's poison of choice, not his. It was just funny to see him so distracted that he was talking to Takeshi but not really seeing him...

When he did though, it was a pure Kodak moment. That look in his eyes, the flush to his cheeks, it made Takeshi want to lean across the bar and kiss him senseless. Grinning widely he leant a little further, not quite 'over' the bar, but close enough he would be better heard. "I wanted to see you! So tell me... When do you get off~?" he tried to tease, but the fact he had to make himself heard about the sound of music and hundreds of people probably robbed him of much of his teasing tone.

When Takeshi leaned over, Akira did the same so that he could hear. And the words made him blush even more. “Whenever my fiancé will let me~” He teased back, though not very discreetly as he was having to talk so loudly over the music. Oh well, he didn’t care what anyone else thought anyway.

“Seriously, the music will go off any minute now and then the bouncers will start getting stragglers moving. I just need to spend a few minutes collecting stray bottles and then I’ll be all yours. Sounds good?”

Glancing from left to right, his grin widened even more when his eyes came to rest upon Akira again. "Think you're fiancé'll let you get home a little late~? You're cute... I wanna steal you away~" It was naughty and he knew it, but he couldn't care less. That blush was adorable.

"Mmmhmm~ That sounds pretty good ta me~" He practically purred as he propped his head up upon his hands and waited right there for the music to go and the people to be sent off home. Maybe he was getting in the way, but he didn't care. He was going to wait right where he was and maybe even help out if he was allowed.

“What he doesn’t know can’t hurt him~” Akira teased back with a smirk, his blush seemingly a permanent fixture as it always was whenever Takeshi called him cute. The compliment never failed to get a response.

“It shouldn’t be too much longer, I promise I won’t be a second longer than I have to.” He promised, jumping a bit so he could pull himself further over the bar to press a kiss to his fiancé’s lips. It wasn’t that risky of a move; the club had all sorts of patrons. The only problems came when a group of drunk jocks took offence but it really was dying down now and nobody paid them any mind. Kamio went back to serving the last few drinks of the evening but as he was hanging out a Bacardi the song finished and nothing else started up. A few people started for their coats to leave while others opted to find seats to finish off their drinks and chat now that they found themselves once again with the gift of hearing. Now was Kamio’s and the other junior’s time to go out and collect bottles, so he climbed over the bar (too much effort to walk to the actual door) and purposely brushed his arm past Takeshi as he reached for an empty bottle beside him. It was torture to have his fiancé there and not be able to hold him!

He winked, his grin morphing into a wicked smirk. "That's what I like to hear..." Then he was kissed. He'd not realised kisses were allowed with all of those people around them. But nope, there was Akira, leaning over the bar just like Takeshi had been wanting to do, and kissing him. And it was nice... boy was it nice. It had only been a few hours since his last kiss from his fiancé but each one, especially these ones, always felt like they were the the first, the last, the one that would blow all other kisses out of the water...

The kiss broke and Akira was off doing his job, leaving Takeshi to groan and flop down against the bar, watching him walk away and grinning to himself. His fiancé really did have a cute ass, and was he wiggling it like that deliberately?

The music stopped and people started to leave, or sit down, whatever they felt like. So Takeshi turned around at the bar and leant back against it, watching everyone. There were some strange looking people about, but the people were nothing compared to the one who brushed past him. Takeshi grinned and reached out before Akira was completely past, his fingertips grazing over his hip. He would have made a grab for him, but he was working, he'd get to hold him all he wanted when his work was done.

The hand brushing his hip was enough to make him shiver even in the heat of the club. Only Takeshi's touches could do that to him. "Not much longer." Kamio whispered into Takeshi's ear as he drew back and blew a little air kiss to his lover before wandering off to find more stray bottles. The process didn't take long and soon he was grabbing his jacket from the cloakroom and back at the bar to collect his fiancé.

"Okay, I'm ready. And I can hear our bed calling to us so I think we should oblige and get our asses moving!" Grabbing Takeshi's hand he led him across the dancefloor and towards the exit, calling goodnight to the bouncers as they stepped out into the cool morning air.

Grinning, he watched his lover wander off again. He watched him everywhere he went, there was just no taking his eyes off of Akira... which seemed to get him noticed by a few of his fellow workers. Not that he minded. If he happened to catch their eye his grin just widened.

When it was all cleaned and time to go, Akira pretty much just walked past him saying something about bed, grabbed his hand and dragged him away. Much to the amusement of some of the cleaning staff. Takeshi laughed and offered them a helpless shrug, but followed along obediently. "Who cares about bed~" He grinned, slipping up behind Akira and wrapping his arms about him, walking with him from behind.

Well...Akira HAD been in a hurry to get home, so that he could be closer to his fiancé. But now that Takeshi had wrapped his arms around him like that Akira slowed his pace a little. No need to rush anymore; what he wanted was already here!

"Good point. The bed is just a minor detail. I have you I can lean against instead. Just shake me if I start to doze off and snore~" Akira said with a grin as he leaned backwards a little, pressing his back against Takeshi's chest. The warmth of the contact combined with his tiredness was making his sleeping threat a very real possibility, so he decided to try talking more to stop it actually happening. "Thank you for coming to see me, though. It means a lot that you came out here at this time of the night."

"Sometimes have good points..." Grinning cheerfully he slowed himself down a little, enough that he was able to hold Akira a little closer. He had no choice in the matter, of course, because Akira had decided he wanted to lean all against him. It wasn't a bad thing, but it made walking a touch more difficult. Takeshi started thinking about maybe picking him up...

"I wanted to see you. I'd said ages ago I was gonna come and see you at work, and... I sorta fell asleep after you left, I woke up and realised I had time. So got dressed and came to see you!" It made sense to Takeshi, he'd had sleep so he wasn't really tired, and it was a Friday night so it meant he was able to sleep in late that morning. It all seemed to work! Leaning down he pressed a kiss to his fiancé's hair. "Should do this more often."

"You always have good points. You're made up of millions of good points." Akira murmured, a small smile spreading across his lips. While walking was difficult, Akira felt amazingly safe like this. With Takeshi's arms around him it wasn't worrying being off balance leaning backwards like this while walking.

"You did say that, but I wasn't going to hold you to it. It's a drag being up this late when you get paid for it! Glad you did come, though, it's nice to have company to keep me awake on the walk home. And if you want to come sometimes I won't stop you! On days like today it's fine; I can cling to you tomorrow morning and make sure you get enough rest with a lay in!"

"You're just flatterin me now~ You sweet talker you..." Somehow Takeshi always had felt it was his place to be flattering, but Akira seemed to always beat him to it and fluster him just enough that all he really wanted to do in response was kiss his fiancé silly.

"Now you're just being really silly. Really silly. Course I'm gonna come down here and see you if I said I was, just didn't have a chance before now. Since I've slept I'm wide awake now and happy to see you like this. That place didn't seem bad either, the people you work with seem nice. The people there though... they're kinda... uh, forward. I got hit on... not by a single girl, but a damn group of them!" Shaking his head at the memory, Takeshi laughed and buried his face against the side of Akira's neck, humming softly his arms tightened for a moment about the other's smaller frame, hugging him close. "Never wanted them... Just made me want my Akira all the more~"

"Of course I'm flattering you. I love doing it. I live to compliment you. And hold you. And kiss you." Akira mused, wishing he could do those things right now. Soon, though. Soon they'd be home and he'd show his fiancé just how appreciative he was of his efforts.

"It's a cool club, the other guys are nice, a bit wild sometime but...good fun. Wait...a group of girls?" Akira almost stopped walking so that he could turn in Takeshi's arms and see if the other teen was joking. "That's pretty epic, Keshi! They hunt you out in packs now!" He couldn't help a small laugh at that, imaging rabid girls in groups chasing his fiancé around screaming his name...

"If you keep imagining that I'm gonna leave you here and lock our bedroom door..." He threatened with a pout, but knew it was actually rather amusing. The group of girls had been fronted by the one who'd asked him out, but they'd all been rather flattering to him. It was just a shame they seemed to pick now as a time to hit on him. Where were the groups of girls back when he was single?

Smiling to himself, he pulled Akira to a stop and turned him around in his arms. It was early enough in the morning that he'd be able to get away with this. "But you know... I wanna hold you and kiss you too.." Takeshi said, replying to what his fiancé had said earlier. And as he spoke, he let his hands wander... sliding down Akira's sides he let them trail over his butt and, he had to lean down a bit for this part, hooked his hands behind the other's thighs and pulled him up. Laughing he made him wrap his legs about his waist and used one of his arms to hold him under the ass, keeping him in place. "... Now I can hold you and kiss you and we can still walk~" To prove it, he kissed him.

"Mean...you'd never lock me out, you'd miss me too much." Akira reasoned, smiling as Takeshi's hands slowly wandered down his body. The touches sent little tingles of electricity through his body, and he yearned for more, wanted to touch and be touched...and suddenly he was lifted and pulled close. Unconsciously his legs lifted and circled his fiancé's waist and his arms slipped loosely around Takeshi's neck just as he was drawn in to a kiss.

"See? I told you that you have the best plans..." Akira said as the drew for air, before lifting one of his hands to bury within his fiancé's hair and pull him closer for another. Pulling back once more he smiled brightly. "Just make sure you don't trip over and hurt yourself, or I'll be the one carrying you home! And I'm tired so I might resort to going home and bringing Kaoru out to drag you~" The idea of Kaoru pulling Takeshi home by a trouser leg was strangely amusing and he wondered if they could train the dog to do it on the softness of their bed in case of a real emergency...and for an epic photo opportunity.

"Wasn't a plan, just somethin that made sense~" he muttered before he was pulled down into another kiss. Only when he was freed did he start to get his legs moving and headed for home, Akira in his arms and clinging against his chest. It wasn't that hard to walk with him, actually, so long as he wasn't directly in front of him and he could see where he was going it wasn't bad at all.

"I'm not gonna trip, asshole! Just keep a good grip of me, don't strangle me and no sudden moves... then we'll be great!" Grinning widely he turned his head and placed a kiss upon his fiancé's cheek. Takeshi loved doing things like this. Holding him and stealing little kisses. They were just lucky it was so early in the morning otherwise they wouldn't have gotten to do this.

"No strangling...okay I'll resist the urge~" Akira teased, smiling and letting his head fall to rest against Takeshi's shoulder. It was hard to explain just how much he loved being carried or held like this. Having Takeshi's arms being the only things stopping him from falling was the kind of trust that a few years ago Akira would never have let anyone have. But now...now he lazily nuzzled the top of his head against Takeshi's cheek and tried not to fall asleep he was so relaxed.

"You spoil me, you know that? If you're not careful I'm going to demand this travel service every night~" He all but purred.

"Better resist..." Grinning, Takeshi gave him a little squeeze to show he was being serious, but relaxed his arms about Akira a second later. While he knew his fiancé wouldn't try and strangle him, he might try and pretend and make him trip up anyway!

"... I spoil you cuz I love you~ And I'd do this every morning if it wasn't so fucking early! I'd be crazy if I did this every time. Maybe just some times? As a treat? Or if you've had a really hard day... just call me and I'll come and pick you up. How's that sound?"

"I like that plan...on special occasions and days when I physically can't walk home~ You'll be the best taxi service in the world!" His tone was teasing but in reality he was anything but. The thought that Takeshi would do this for him when he really needed someone there for company warmed him and he held on a little tighter to show just how much he appreciated the offer.

"Love that you spoil me like this. Love...love everything about you. Thank you for this, Keshi. Seriously thank you." He said softly, trailing off into a yawn. At this rate he wasn't going to last much longer and already he could visualise their bed and falling onto it and pulling Takeshi down...that scene had to happen in his near future.
