The Real Santa

Christmas was the best time of the year, Kikumaru was absolutely sure of it. Everything was so shiny and there was music and people everywhere he went. It all just made him so happy.

What wasn’t so nice though, was that he didn’t have anyone to accompany him when he went shopping that Christmas. All of his friends seemed to have something better to do and Eiji didn’t want to make them feel guilty, so he had just told them that he was fine with going alone.

It wasn’t so bad, really. He didn’t have to buy any of the presents in secret when there was no one to see what he was buying. There wasn’t anyone to slow him down either, so he was able to go wherever he wanted. Still, it got boring after a while.

Just when he was ready to go home, he noticed a big crowd of children in the toy department. There was something in there, which meant nothing could keep him away from there!

He walked to the crowd and it didn’t take long for him to notice what the big attraction was: Santa! Of course, what else could it be? Santa Claus with his red clothes and white beard, sitting there with kids in his lap, asking what they wanted for Christmas.

Eiji didn’t believe in Santa anymore. Wouldn’t it be a bit absurd for a 14-year-old to believe that he was real? It didn’t stop him from moving closer, though.

He remembered the time when he was a kid and came to see Santa every year. It had been the highlight of the Christmas to sit in his lap and tell that he wanted to have a pedal car or a huge teddy bear. Back then he had really thought that Santa Claus was the one who brought the gifts.

Somehow he ended up in the front row right next to the red-clad man. And he didn’t leave the chance unused when the girl that had been telling her wish list (“I want a pony and a Barbie and...”) got off and none of the kids replaced her immediately.

Santa looked at him when he stopped before him. This Santa didn’t look very old, not to mention he didn’t even sound male when he asked: “And what do you want for Christmas, child?”

Kikumaru actually blushed a little when the man laughed a bit after the question. Then he decided to play along, sitting in his lap and smiling to him, not caring when the parents of the children around them started whispering.

“Are you the real Santa?”

The man laughed softly. “What do you think? Am I?”

Eiji smiled a little. That sounded like a question that didn’t have an answer, so he just told his wish with a straight face: “I want someone to keep me company tonight. All my friends are with their families or something, so I’m reeeally bored, nya.”

“Oh? That’s not good at all. Would you want to help me here for a while, if you don’t have anything better to do?”

Eiji was sure that he knew this Santa from somewhere. He had heard his voice before, and nobody who didn’t know him wouldn’t let him sit in their lap or actually ask him to stay there, right?

“Hoi! I’ll be an elf from now on!” he exclaimed as he jumped up from Santa’s lap and snatched a nearest elf’s hat from a plastic elf.

The following hour went quickly while they entertained the children. Finally the crowd started to disappear since it was getting late.

Eiji noticed a certain tennis captain a bit before the toy department was closed. Not that it was too difficult, because Atobe Keigo was noticed wherever he went: he stood out from other people. He was standing next to the entrance of the department looking like he was waiting for someone.

“Well, it’s time to leave, isn’t it?”

The acrobatic player jumped a bit when he heard Santa’s voice right behind him. When had he walked there?

The man laughed and touched his shoulder gently before walking past him, straight to Atobe. This surprised Eiji a bit. Was this Santa from Hyotei or why did he know the captain?

Atobe seemed to be complaining about something before he pulled down the beard and kissed the other man quickly, like he was afraid to get caught. Right then Eiji recognized the Santa Claus.

“Yukimura-san?!”

His yell made both men turn to him, Atobe raising his eyebrow, Yukimura just smiling gently. Basically they were like Kikumaru was the one acting weird here. He wasn’t kissing another man in public!

Or he hadn’t been, since suddenly the captain of Rikkaidai was standing before him and their lips touched softly.

“Are you coming or not?” Atobe asked from where he was standing. He actually looked bored.

Eiji didn’t have any idea what had just happened. Later he could blame it on his shock that he had followed the other two when Yukimura started walking and said: “Shall we go, then? Before he leaves us here...”

They drove in Atobe’s limousine to his mansion, and during the drive the both captains acted like Eiji was supposed to be there. Like he was part of their relationship.

The acrobatic player on the other hand didn’t really know why he was there. Actually he didn’t even notice his surroundings before he was sitting on a sofa in Atobe’s luxurious living room.

“Hey, pay attention to Ore-sama!”

The commanding voice pulled him out of his thoughts immediately, as well as the weight on his lap when Atobe seated himself there, straddling him.

“Don’t you dare to think anything else when in my awesome presence.”

Needless to say, it wouldn’t have been possible again anyway. Who could think with someone like Atobe Keigo kissing him senseless? Not that Eiji was complaining.

Eiji could never have even imagined that someday he would end up in the same bed with the two most beautiful persons he had ever met. The whole thing was so unbelievable that he almost thought that it was a dream.

Still, when he was carefully preparing Atobe, who was doing the same to Yukimura, he was sure that he could never dream something like this.

The feeling when all the three of them united was awesome, and at that moment it felt like nothing could be better. Not until they started moving, that is.

Atobe got most of the attention, none of them had thought any other way. That was how the captain of Hyotei was, and neither of them could possibly steal the attention he needed.

All three of them came almost simultaneously, calling each other’s names and clinging to one another.

Eiji was lying on the luxurious bed, Atobe’s head pillowed on his chest. The acrobatic player smiled a little, listening to the other boy’s breathing while he slept.

Yukimura walked in with a wet towel, having apparently cleaned himself already. He came to the bed and wiped away the mess they had made.

“So, was this a good enough present?”

Eiji just nodded, still smiling, and petted Atobe’s hair playfully. What would have been better than this, seriously?

Yukimura chuckled, climbing to the bed too, snuggling between the two, burying his head in the crook of Atobe’s neck. “I think this is the first time Keigo’s been this tired...” he whispered and kissed his boyfriend’s skin gently.

Atobe shifted a bit, throwing his arm around the both boys next to him and mumbled in his sleep: “Do not underestimate Ore-sama’s endurance...”

Both awake boys laughed at the comment, hooking their hands together, and fell asleep too.
