Hanging out in Erie
I've been here in Erie for a couple of months now and I'm surely having a good time. We've had some crazy nights out on the town and I have at least four friends here that are into mountain biking so we're going to hit some trails as soon as it gets warm. I learned to snowboard a few weeks ago...it was the most fun I've ever had on no wheels. I hit my head a few too many times.
I just got back from OMLS, a week long training thing in Greenville, SC. It was beautiful down there and it reminded me how much I love the south and southern accents. We learned about project management, finance, lean manufacturing, economics, and got a tour of the plant down there. I got to meet lots of people on program from the other businesses, so that was great.
I'm sitting around in my apartment right now and relaxing. I really do love this place. I can't wait to sit out on the porch overlooking the bay in the summer. I finally have internet and TV here so I'm connected to the rest of the world.
