I am in the process of planning my next trip, which is really making me think about a lot of shit lately.
I learned a lot this past year, but really wish it hadn't been with the person it was with. She truly is amazing and I still find myself thinking about how utterly retarted I was. Wondering why she (probably the greatest friend and person i've come in contact from this long life of traveling) had to be the one that brought my true colors to my attention and not someone before her. Wishing that this next trip included her like it should have, but the reality of the situation is that all I can hope for is to one day have her understand how truly sorry I am and maybe with some slaps to the face and honesty, earn forgiveness.
