finally saw Avatar and it was flashy and pretty and even in 3d. which is why most people have mistaken it as beautiful and epic and great filmmaking. there is a moral and commentary that people can ignore if they choose because it is flashy and pretty and might be in 3d in your area. i enjoyed the first half and then i predicted the rest. then it just got corny and full of lines that will soon be on someone's "list of 100 cheesy movie lines" on youtube or facebook.
i did pick up Stitches which i'm excited about reading. currently reading The Heart is a Lonely Hunter and several non-fiction library books.
