as i sit bored to death at work i had a thought that was funny to me and probably only to me. a friend of megan's friended me on facebook and as i had met her a couple weeks back i friended her back. i noticed she was a clarinetist with a degree from UNT. i made some wisecrack about the over saturation of clarinetists in austin and then listed the brand and model of the clarinet i used when i played. she responded that she used another brand.
thsi made me think. what if all classical musicians listed their "gear" like guitarists do on message boards?
you often see guitarists list their rigs. for example, my rig is:

What if classical musicians listed these? My Clarinet "rig" would be Vandoren Silver Box 3 reeds->Buffet E13 Bb Clarinet
