So...riding a bike in pouring rain is really not fun. Like, I don't even think that having a poncho would make it any better, not when I more or less couldn't even hold my head up straight because the rain was hitting my face so hard that it felt like lots of little rubber bands being snapped against it, and I couldn't even keep my eyes fully open...yeah. And I had to take my air-pollution mask (lol) off because there was so much water getting in that I was in danger of breathing water in every time I breathed, which was making it hard to get enough air.... If I hadn't been fifteen minutes away from home, I would have used Über, but since I was....

So, before the games last night, I had been wondering whether I should hope for a Man City vs Bayern matchup because they would probably be the easiest to beat for us...or whether I should hope for a Man City vs Barça matchup for the Kunessi (I know).
And then this morning I saw that Barça had been knocked out, which, I'm ngl, made me so happy and excited that I could barely keep it within myself - I was nearly shaking with excitement. Yeah, that's how much I don't like Barça. And it doesn't help that I don't like Messi, either. I would have been so unhappy had they been the first team to win back-to-back CL titles because we could have done it first (and thinking about the 2012 final still makes me ill...I wonder if it will ever get better, because nearly four years on, it still hasn't :S And I don't think I will ever be able to re-watch that game....)
I was super nervous about our result, though, so it was a huge relief to see that we managed to make it. All the ~neutrals seem to want us to be drawn against Atletico, but pls no, I'd rather have a two-legged Madrid derby, thanks. S:
Also, Wolfsburg, you had one job, ugh.

The 100 km event is tomorrow, so I'll be gone until Sunday night. Let's hope I make it! S:
