It's been so long since I've really been in HP fandom.
So whilst reading Slytherin!Harry fics, I stumbled upon Hit the Ground Running by 
Tozette, which is a brilliant WIP with the summary of "The Horcrux in Harry's head wakes up and begins talking to Harry long before he's ever heard the name Voldemort. Philosopher's Stone AU.". I hadn't really been interested in this genre before, but I wanted to read more Slytherin!Harry...and this fic is apparently the best when it comes to this trope, or so some other reviewer said.
Which kind of sucks, because now I want to read other fics with this trope. And um, I can't seem to find any. So, any recs from the flist?
No, I still haven't read DH. :P
The thing that sucks about Slytherin!Harry, though, is that so many of these fics have Harry/Draco as well, which just doesn't interest me. :\ That's like 50% of the fics with this trope eliminated. :\
Also, I just want to say wrt the new brouhaha in HP fandom: I rather prefer Hermione with Viktor Krum, so. :P
I've got some photos to post, but I'd have to drag myself away from fic first...and my self-control when it comes to fic is really bad. XPPPP
