Well, since my flist are already writing their letters, I figured I'd join the flock. :] Thank you thank you thank you for offering to write one of my fandoms-I've no idea what our match is, but this is the first year I've only requested three fandoms, so I'm sure I'll be overjoyed whichever fandom it is!
I've given you a general idea of the scenarios I want, I think, but if you are interested in more...3: Oh, and feel free to look at my delicious for an idea of what I like to read, particularly the favourite_ever and lovelovelove (and maybe even lovelove) tags, in the tag bundle at the top!
Generally, I like stuff that focuses on emotions and subtlety (things unsaid, emotions unspoken, what lies between people, stuff like that). I love really well-crafted phrases, though of course that's a style thing (and if it's not yours, don't worry!). Not a fan of explicit sex, but hey, if it's important or illustrates a point or whatever, then go for it by all means!
And more in-depth details for each fandom, as this year what I want from each is actually vastly different!
Football RPF:
Okay, it was extremely hard for me to narrow it down to just four characters, because I love the German National Team so incredibly much. But I suspect that if we got matched on this fandom...then you probably love them, too!
What I would love so, so much is a fic set during the 2014 World Cup. Miro's still on the National Team despite his age, and of course so's everyone else (Mesut, Sami, and Thomas, in the character list; Basti, Lukas, Manu, Per, Boateng, and Philipp as well, of course...and maybe Arne???? Arne might be unrealistic, but if you could find a way to include him, I would be so incredibly chuffed. And possibly Micha? 3:). And I would love for Miro to beat Ronaldo's record, and to beat/have beaten Gerd Müller's as well. And for them to win the World Cup, finally. Ideally, they'd beat Spain this time. ;P And basically the team being all happy and celebrating, and Miro can be finally okay with retiring, now that he's beaten all these records and won a World Cup (and I know that Miro probably wouldn't be all in-your-face about it, probably doesn't even care as much as some of us fans, but I can imagine Thomas being ridiculously happy for him, for one).
I would just love some gen fic of them being an adorable team together, because I think it's obvious how much they really care about each other and work well together and love each other. If the scenario above is a bit too overreaching, then maybe some fic set during the World Cup this past year? Post-Germany vs. England, vs. Argentina, vs. Spain, and/or vs. Uruguay? Being happy about winning/sad about losing/angry about being carded, feeling out of sorts when someone on the starting lineup is made to sit out (I'm convinced this is (one reason) why they were shit against Spain, because Thomas couldn't play), and really, just remaining a team through it all?
And of course with any actual football game, I'd love to have Mesut & Thomas & Lukas being great with their assists, Miro and his amazing goals (and thighs!), Bastian always in the midst of things, Poldi being the most touch-feely with his glomp-ish hugs, Thomas patting people's heads, Basti getting intense in congratulations, and Sami always hovering and making sure he's in the hug action! Oh, and Thomas coming back for seconds, sometimes. XD Though please don't leave Philipp out of hugs, at least some of the time!
If you are more of a slash writer...then how about some Sami/Mesut? The two of them in Madrid with Real, and especially with Mesut just breaking up with Anna Maria...Something sweet and slow and satisfying, softly unfurling in the passage of days. Or maybe some Miro/Lukas? Their shared Polish roots, their shared history on the National Team, at Bayern, the way Lukas picked Miro up at the World Cup and just carried him around? The little things that transpire between them, a very constant sort of sweet love that doesn't need to be voiced but is shown through gesture? These are the only two pairings I even kind of ship...and I absolutely hate Schweinski. I'd really really really prefer gen fic with the boys, but I understand if that's a lot to ask...3:

I know I put three characters up...but thinking about it now, I'd much prefer the Dr. Gordon fic over the unrequited Amanda/John fic. I would love love love some Dr. Gordon fic that takes into account what we saw in Saw 3D - the way John treated him after his game, how/why he decided to help John (or how John got him to help), his relationship with his family, what he thinks of Amanda and Hoffman (as John's apprentices), and what he will do now after locking Hoffman away.
But if this is too ambitious for you...I feel like no one's yet written the Amanda/John fic I want to read. The movies really make me feel like Amanda worships John and wants to be his favourite/#1/the like, while John sees her as an apprentice, his 'future', but no more than that. So I'd love some Amanda POV fic that explores this dynamic...but I would prefer this to be set before she starts cutting again (perhaps this helps lead to it?).
Misc Actor RPF:
I can't believe no one's written this fic yet...or maybe I've just failed at finding it. But basically, yes, just some Matt Damon/Ben Affleck in response to the I'm Fucking Matt Damon/I'm Fucking Ben Affleck things on Jimmy Kemmel! I'd love references to their shared history and BFFness. Not necessarily looking for established relationship, but I'd love something beautiful that's a result of their long years together, shared memories and pasts and experiences, memory-touch and words that don't need to be said, the understanding that what they have will last for the rest of their lives, even if everything else falls apart.
And yeah, I suppose I basically see them laughing the videos off/teasing each other/etc. Matt being surprised (but realizing that he shouldn't be) at Ben's role in Jimmy's response, stuff like that.
Oh, and if you are looking to jump fandoms...I'd say they are all rather easy! You can get an idea of the German National Team by hanging around loewsmiserables, reading the football fic in my delicious, and watching their recent games (World Cup and UEFA qualifying matches, I'm really not interested in the team before this year's World Cup, so not that many games to watch!), which you can find on torrents. (The games are where you can see the love they have for each other, just watch how they hug after a goal/game! 3: That's really the most important part, along with the making of the goals themselves!) Saw just has seven movies. And as for Matt Damon/Ben Affleck...the relevant videos are on youtube, and Wikipedia has some general info on their friendship, along with the films they've made together. damonaffleck has some good stuff as well.

Also...I am so incredibly gutted that Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie weren't characters in British Actor RPF! Yeah, they were in A Bit of Fry and Laurie and QI, but I don't know anything about the former, and I don't want QI fic of them! I mean, it's a way of getting around the system, I suppose, but QI fic inevitably means Alan Davies, and I really do not want fic that involves Alan! I just want Stephen and Hugh in love, DNW Alan as part of it! :((((((((((
