aerielle AND I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE PROPOSITION 8 PROTEST
IT WAS SO FUCKING AMAZING DESPITE OUR SHITTY WEATHER THAT ONLY GOT WORSE
The support was amazing. We easily had maybe 250, 300 people before the weather got really terrible (and it was already not that great, with temperature in about the high 30s or low 40s and drizzling), but the people were so enthusiastic and energized, and we had signs and chanted, and the atmosphere was really just amazing.
And even when it started raining and it got below 32, people were still there. We had some people by the road, and there were so many cars driving by and honking and supporting the cause, it was just really wonderful, and I am so thrilled I went despite shitty Ohio weather.
Apparently the next one we have is January 9. It's going to be fucking cold, but we are so going again. AND IT WILL BE EVEN BETTER NEXT TIME YEAH.
ETA: aerielle just reminded me about the MASS HUGGING. IT WAS SO SWEET AND WONDERFUL AND WE WERE ALL FULL OF LOVE <33333 IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL
