I don't think many people understand why I'm so interested in Project Chanology. descants and I discussed, the other night, about my view that revolutions aren't really possible/likely any more, because governments these days have an incredible amount of military power over their subjects, not to mention data about their private lives (to varying degrees). For a long time, I haven't believed that the common people can reach critical mass again.

But Project Chanology gives me hope that the people can still unite against an oppressive, powerful force, that a movement of people can still reach critical mass and fight for their own interests. I truly want this to work because it would show those in power that we aren't as weak as anyone believes us to be. If we can accomplish that, then there is still hope.

I am sick. Dry, hacking cough and raw as fuck throat, and I have two papers due tomorrow, but I don't want to work on them because it's really hard to concentrate when I'm coughing every other moment. Wtf self. :||||

Sorry, but marriage and sex DON'T go together.

So this woman is going to leave her husband when their children are adults because she doesn't want to be physically intimate with him. Even though they are pretty compatible in everything else.

I think she had the wrong idea about marriage because marriage is about domesticity, especially monogamous marriage. Most relationships do not stay passionate and obsessive after the first two years. (There is research about this, but I can't be bothered to find it right now.) I'm really not sure what to say about this, but wow...Leaving one's spouse because of a lack of (interest in) a shared sex life is...

At this rate, I won't have trouble finding a husband at all.

interpersonal relations, the masses unite, feeling like crap
