Reading grad school comms is depressing. There are people with 4.0 gpas, unnecessarily high scores on standardized tests, and multiple papers and conference presentations getting rejected from top schools while people who have much inferior records are accepted, and other people are getting full funding for 5 or 6 years. It makes me go :(:(:( because now I fear for my own record, which is leaning toward too much of the former, and I'm scared that my top choice for med school will reject me. Not that it'll be easy to enter in the first place since 89% of those admitted will be in-state, and I won't be. But I got accepted there for undergrad, so I have a chance, right? :OOOO

Also, randomly, I want to date a prof. Especially since I'm 18 now. Except how am I supposed to start hitting on one/make conversation with one/etc. :\
