Peter knew that he would be in deep trouble if they found out he was giving an examination free of charge, but he was getting into this job to help people and not hand out bills. There was a bug going around and Peter couldn't take sitting on his ass and doing nothing while people coughed up a storm under their shoddy living conditions. He was at the ER, looking over one of the civilians, and keeping an eye out for the woman from the phone.
