WHO: citizens of Truth or Consequences WHAT: mobs trying to attack ToC WHERE: all over Truth or Consequences WHEN: all day Saturday WARNINGS: attempts of violence

[ Feferi had been out and about, stopped by a gas station to get a bottle of water, when she-- and the unwitting station attendant-- became aware that anything was going on.
A call from his wife had alerted the middle-aged man; Feferi had been perusing a magazine off the rack at the moment, waiting for him to finish up the call and make her purchase, and had been rather surprised to find herself ushered to the backroom with very little ceremony. Naturally, she had put up a bit of a fuss at first-- being pushed into a dimly-lit room by a stranger didn't really bode well-- but the as soon as he had uttered the phrases "Flincher's fuckin' fanclub" and "frothing angry mob", she got the point well enough.
She would have persisted, that she could help, but she was currently unarmed and unable to do much. She didn't even have a box of bandaids on her, let alone anything useful. Best that she at least take cover until she could think of productive to do.
She sits in the backroom as the outsiders push forward in an attempts to ravage the town's import inhabitants, checking her device every minute or so, to see if the network has anything to say about what's going on outside. ]
((ooc: rescue rights have gone to Sollux, but anyone taking cover at Trollhouse can tag this post to chat her up afterwards!))
[They hadn't been talking much, recently, so it had taken him moment ot realize it, at first. She went out during the day, didn't she? She went out and she hadn't been at the trollhouse when this started.]
[Fuck. She wasn't there.]
[What is something happened? What if they got to her? Images of Pixie from the network, perigee earlier, spring to mind. Beaten and bloody and nearly fucking dead from the looks of it. Feferi stuck out like a sore thumb. What if they found her alone and they...oh shit oh god what if they...?]
[He needed to find her.]
[He was torn with indecision. He needed to watch over the trollhouse, to protect it, but more than anything he needed to know Feferi was safe. So, heart pounding in his chest in barely restrained panic, he texts her privately through the network:]
FF? FF? are you ok where are you? there are mob2 here and they're wreckiing 2hiit and you need two get 2omewhere 2afe you need two hiide.
[ It wasn't unexpected, but the beeping of her device to signal that she has new messages startles her, and she jumps just enough to bump her knee in an awkward manner. Biting her lip against the discomfort and breathing in sharply, she brings the device up again and flicks on the screen.
--Her heart leaps to see that familiar yellow text and typing style. Hardly talking to Sollux for a whole week's time has been hard, but she was waiting for the opportune moment to talk to him again, preferably on his terms rather than hers. It had seemed appropriate, given the situation.
With a good deal of effort, she resists the urge to gush all the feelings she's having at the moment, and forces herself to write out something a little more coherent. ]

[Sollux nearly drops his communicator out of anxiety when it buzzes, but a wave of relief goes through his body when he sees her text. Thank god thank god...]

[Granted, it wasn't like the nearby one or the faraway one made much of a difference to Sollux but he feels like he needs to get as much info as possible.]
