SUMMARY: Megan has been avoiding Warren as best she could, but she can’t do that forever, and it’s time they sat down and talked.
Back when Megan and Ali had moved in with Warren, Megan had painted Fisherman’s wharf and various other places in San Francisco along her walls. They helped remind her of home and places that brought about good memories as well as covering up the fact she was stranded in the desert. Recently though, she’d taken up covering the walls with charcoal sketches containing swirls and images that were all too reminiscent of what she'd used to pain before she’d met Laura.
If she’d thought about it hard enough she'd know that was a sign she wasn’t handling anything that had happened well, but thinking was the last thing Megan wanted to do. That and sleep were on the bottom of her list since both of those activities only brought up what had happened a week ago, or maybe it was longer. Time was something she wasn’t good at keeping either at the moment. That was probably why it was taking her twice as long to do anything she normally did or why she simply didn’t accomplish some tasks at all anymore. It annoyed her how she’d look off, stare at a wall for what she thought was only a moment, but in reality could end up being hours.
Which was why she was still trying to write a stupid paper about a stupid book that she’d been working on since she'd arrived home from school and wasn’t getting any closer to finishing. At least she had Dazzler music to keep her company. Hopefully that would be enough of a deterrent to keep people out of her room.
