SUMMARY: Ivan's biggest wish is fulfilled and he gets to frolic around Japan! But he's with Jason, so something bad is almost guaranteed to happen...
It had been impossible for Ivan to contain his excitement, and it just grew the closer they got to their destination. During the plane ride, he told Jason all about how the theme for his hero persona was picked, how instructors were flown in for publicity and a few private lessons, but visiting the country was a totally different thing. When they entered Japanese airspace, he couldn't detach himself from the window. Once they touched down, the first thing Ivan did was crouch and touch Japanese ground with his own two hands.
It all made for a likely embarrassing display, and he definitely earned all kinds of looks. He calmed down, eventually; enough to stop babbling, though he fairly vibrated with enthusiasm. Ivan was a huge nerd, but he at least knew enough to try and keep some sort of composure so he wouldn't humiliate himself too badly. Still, he couldn't keep the smile off his face as he made his way through the crowded streets, after Jason had made the necessary arrangements for their hotel. He wanted to see everything and had no idea where to start - though his eyes did drift longingly to the various anime and manga shops they passed.
