[Warren's stewing in anger as the team makes their way through the rickety looking Pirate building. He's still beyond pissed that they'd stumbled onto mutant experiments; story of their lives, right? Unfortunate.

But he's going into this focused and is ready to do whatever it takes to get some answers, retribution, and/or survivors. He's flying through the halls like a bad habit, as being in the air is where he's always most effective in any mission.]

[Bobby is sliding right behind him! he is not particularly excited about this mission either]

Man, Tom Sawyer was one of my favorites.

Yeah, this place is totally ruined forever.

[Not that he still visits or anything, but they were good childhood memories, dammit!

I can't help it, but I'm really preparing myself for the worst here.

[Bobby still visits! he likes the roller coasters. :C]

That way you won't be disappointed, I guess. I don't even want to know what your definition of 'worst' is, though.

I just don't want to find anyone else dead. They've hurt enough people as it, and it's worse when it's kids.

[Warren scans the dark tunnels before them, and decides to hang a right. At least these enhanced eyes of his are of some help]

Yeah, I know. Me neither. At least we're coming to stop 'em.

[he slides after Warren]

[Warren spends the rest of his flight in silence, following the blood and footprints that Alison's picking up with her black lights. Warren's a bit surprised when the room is just occupied by scientists and nothing else.

And those scientists look just as shocked to see them, too. Warren lands slowly, and tries to keep his anger in check so that he doesn't go Archangel-ing out on everyone]

Tomorrow Foundation, I take it?

[Then the scientists start begging the team not to hurt them]

[Bobby glares at the scientists]

Cute. Did you pick that up from the kids you tortured?

[Warren flips his comm on to record just as a scientist starts 'explaining' to Bobby their reasons: wanting to cure imports. Just listening to it makes Warren's eyes flash with anger, and he forces back that blue tint from surfacing his skin]

We don't need to be cured, you hear me? There was nothing wrong with those kids.

[Scientist says that they only wanted to help. :c]

You wanted to help those kids? You killed them! You killed kids! Because they weren't exactly the kind of normal you thought you wanted. Don't try that bullshit with us. If you wanted to help them there's so many other things you could've done. And how was that even supposed to make them normal, anyway?

[Alison is in front, having used her powers to get away from Lestat, and now flying near Warren and close to the ceiling. she's also offering something of a flashlight for any eyes to follow, and a black light to scope out any prints left behind. Besides being up in the air, Alison assumes that her light is the only other reason Lestat isn't bothering her now, and she's thankful for it. One whiff of her lights, and there would be one Z-list vampire in total dust here.

However, she tries to push Lestat out of her mind, as there are more important things at stake right now. They needed to find answers here, and put a stop to whatever was going on.

Quietly, she spoke so only Warren would pick up her voice.]

Hear anything unusual yet? I can't feel anything.

In a place like this, my hearing isn't nearly as good as my eyes are, unfortunately. Too closed in; I'm better in the sky.

[It's not said grudgingly of course, just out of observation]

I guess I'm kinda relying on you for that; I figure you'll be the first of us to pick up on anything.

The loudest thing in here is Lestat's constant whining about everything.

[If Alison gets out of this without hitting Lestat in the back of the head, she'll be surprised.]

There's some other voices I don't know, too, but everything is very still. I think if we want to find anyone, we should keep going this direction.

[Alison shines her hands to the side, her black light picking up an old stain of blood. Too old to count for anything recent, but just as horrible had it been new.]]

As much as I hate to say it, honey, you're going to have to try and get along. He's very useful, believe it or not, and probably has more strength and speed on his feet than any of the rest of us.

I know he's useful, Warren, and I am trying to get along with him the best I can. He's making it difficult, and it's hard to concentrate on feeling sounds through this entire area when he's just telling me about all the reasons he doesn't like humans.

[She sighs]

By the way, my black lights are picking up old faded blood stains ad footprints.

[He glances down, dropping the argument about Lestat to check out this blood]

Well at least we know we're headed in the right direction.

[Now he starts flying a bit faster]
