SUMMARY: Eridan talks Steve into coming with him to the trollhouse in T&C, hoping vainly for some mediating action between himself and Sollux.
"...and that's how I was in there for practically days," Eridan said, finishing recounting his sob story of getting stuck in a broken refrigerator that he'd been sleeping in, for whatever bizarre reason that was never made entirely clear. Trolls sure are weird. But the gist of his tales is clear: he's been living in Truth or Consequences for weeks now, scrounging out a pretty sad existence, "It was fuckin' awful, after everythin' else that's been goin' on especially."
When they came up to the door of the warehouse, however, Eridan glared at it like it was personally offensive. For a kid complaining about being almost killed, he wasn't acting too afraid of meeting his aggressor. "I'm not knocking, who knows what rubbish Sol's gonna fling my way if I'm the one answerin. You do it," he practically commanded Steve.
