[two of Bobby's best bros had been ported out, and one of his very very best bros turned out to be a complete fucking monster in this universe, which meant bad Bobby hadn't been a very good bro to him, since if bad Jean was transporting him places then the old X-Men must know, right? and maybe it'd been naive of him but he'd kind of assumed they were all evil bros together.
and he'd lost so many friends in this universe already, and now Johnny and Peter too, and what if Warren and Jean were next? he had therefore concluded it was best to stay in his house for as long as possible, eating junk food and delivery pizza and watching movies based on comic books. most every room in his house had some dirty clothing, old paperwork, or empty food cartons strewn about the floor, and most of the lights were off. the only signs of life were the sounds of the cheap knockoff Batman film on TV and the occasional faint sniffle]
