[ In spite of all of the things that were going on (and surprisingly, a lot of things seemed to be going on at once) it was obvious that her mood had gotten considerably better now that the older Nepeta was around too. ]

[ Right now it's the not-so-early morning and Terezi, whose previous day was quite tiring for some reason, is about to wake up. Squirming and yawning, she's attempting to keep her eyes shut and sleep for a while longer. Hopefully you enjoy cuddling, Nepeta, because your friend has a habit of doing that. ]

[Somehow, Nepeta had managed to actually get to sleep in the early hours of the morning wrapped around Terezi and one of the two cats. It was a light one though, and with her head buried in Terezi's side, it's not long before she starts to stir with all the moving that Terezi is doing.

She's not quite ready to wake up from her catnap though, and promptly curls tighter around Terezi, purring slightly.]

[ Terezi notices that - consciousness is slowly taking over despite her best efforts to go back to sleep and she absently reaches up to pet and gently scratch Nepeta's head, much like she would do to the cats.

She mumbles something in her sleep - something slurred along the lones of 'too early for consciousness' - and very nearly rolls onto the side. ]

[The moment the scratching starts, Nepeta purrs louder, and stretches up against Terezi, into the hair pettings, much like a cat would. Her eyes are shut, and shes smiling.

Once Terezi mumbles something, she curls right up against her again and murmurs happily.]

[ Almost out of instinct, she keeps scratching - it's a somewhat lazy gesture, very slow in nature which is understandable since she's still mostly asleep. It doesn't stop her, however, from using her free arm to put it over and around Nepeta.

It's like cuddling with a human-sized cat. It's kind of really, really comfortable. Excuse her, but this is the best wake-up call she has had in a very long time. ]

[Nepeta murmurs again, and wriggles against Terezi a little more, getting more comfortable. She's still enjoying the hair petting, which is sending her back off to sleep pretty quickly.]

[ Well at least one of them will get some sleep!

... Or would, but Terezi's act of affection is slowly stopping as she begins to regain consciousness and yawns rather loudly. Oh nooo ]

Weh, what time is it...

[Nepeta is dozing by the time Terezi stirs again, and makes a small noise of complaint when she moves and talks.]

Nooootoearly.

[prodigypyrope]

[ Terezi is prone to roll over slightly. Somehow that noise of complaint gets her to slowly start petting Nepeta's hair. ]

Buh... How early?

[Nepeta smiles up into the petting again, and mumbles her reply, clinging to Terezi's side.]

I'unno.

[ She doesn't intend to detach herself from Nepeta's grasp any soon. Consciousness is going to make it difficult to go back to sleep so soon, though. ]

... Blar. Too early then.

[mammalhats]

Mmmnhnnm. [she nods distantly into Terezi's side, yawning widely.]

Waaaytooearly.

[prodigypyrope]

[ Terezi finds herself letting out a small sympathetic yawn at that. Still, she doesn't move except to snuggle some more. ]

... Breakfast.

[mammalhats]

[Nepeta just groans a little, in a very catlike way, and buries her head further into Terezi's side.]

Mmmgnhn.

[ Terezi is quick to curl up. ]

But-- food.

[ Food is something she might or might not want, HOWEVER waking up and actually getting out of this comfortable pile is unfortunately an arduous task which she does not want to partake in. ]

[Yeah, Nepeta doesn't really want to move either. The cat on the other hand had other ideas, and jumps up on Nepeta's shoulder, and bats at her horns, meowing loudly.]
