WHEN: Monday Evening.
WHERE: Manhattan! Various areas throughout the city.

He had a pizza box balanced on his arm as he walked, glancing around every few seconds to keep a good handle on their surroundings. He had only been to New York a few times when he was at home, and it had never been a pleasant place there, so he certainly wasn't giving here any second chances. He kept nearly doubletaking at the fact that John was even there to begin with, so it also didn't hurt to keep checking to make sure he still was.
Wordlessly, when he arrived at the door to the hotel he'd dropped Jade off at when he'd arrived (she'd fallen into one of her dead sleeps on the train, and he'd been too giddy and concerned to wait for her to wake up-- he'd scribbled a note on the pad of paper beside her bed that said "stay here, be back soon" and gone to get John on his own), he passed the pizza toward John and dug the key out of his pocket to unlock it. He'd spent more time out than he'd really intended, and hoped she wasn't cross with him.
"We're back, Harley," he said as he opened the door.
