WARNINGS: Sam's hideous beliefs about women. Sally's awful cooking. Illyana being somewhat normal.
SUMMARY: It's a typical dinner at the Guthrie's.
[Dinner is set! The roast is burnt on the outside and cold in the middle, the vegetables are entirely too hard, and don't even get started on the bread, but the pie is from the bakery and delicious. Plus the set up is amazing. It's like out of a catalog, which it sort of is, because Sally gets all of her tips from them. She may not be able to cook, but she's excellent at keeping the house and spending Sam's money in all the right ways.
She sets out Sam's drink, and the newspaper near his chair in case he wants it, and waits for him and Illyana to get home so this daily ritual can begin. ]
