Lois was having a crappy day. Not only was Warren back in his disgusting other form that liked to throw knives at her, but she'd also managed to melt her bed to the floor when she'd woken up. She still wasn't sure how she'd done that or how her powers were evolving. It had been bad enough that she could kill animals and humans with a touch; she didn't want to worry about melting every day objects as well. She bet Alison never had to deal with any downfalls in her own power. Everything her sister did made the world brighter, happier. Lois only seemed to be able to destroy. She wasn't sure what that said about herself, but she didn't like the girl who stared back at her from the mirror...which was why she'd melted it a few hours ago.
She was tired of staying cooped up in her motel room, and though she was wary of running into Warren or his other half, she needed to get out and breathe the fresh air. She simply made sure to take the long way, as far from his apartment building as she could get, while on her trek. As she walked, Lois tried not to think about how easily she was able to slip into the shadows or consider why the darkness soothed her troubled soul.
