WHERE: One of Batman's safe-houses in Seattle.
WHEN: An hour or so after Monet is located by Kirk and Sub Zero.
WARNINGS: None.
SUMMARY: The city is covered in darkness and under siege after metahumans lose their powers. Batman tends to one of them who was grievously injured.
Underneath Pacific Iron & Metal Co in Seattle, WA, now owned by Wayne Enterprises, Batman monitors her vitals carefully. Her pulse is steady, which is a good sign given the state of her injuries. Getting her here was the hard part; after field dressing her wounds with makeshift splints and supporting her neck, he had to not only get her halfway across the city, but do it without being trailed, and in a city under siege. It wasn't the easiest task, but Bruce had spent the past few months here learning the ins and outs, every nook and cranny of this city, so that avoiding trouble was a non-issue.
He's very careful with her. He strips her and cleans her wounds, replaces all the splints and dresses her wounds appropriately. Bruce isn't sure what her blood type is, but along with the medical supplies, he has plenty of O Negative blood packets courtesy of the hospitals Bruce Wayne is currently funding. With the hardest part over, he leaves her to rest with a cocktail of antibiotics, Ativan, Versed, and Morphine coursing through her.
With her resting comfortably (or as comfortably as possible), Bruce steps over to his computer to touch base with the rest of his team in the field. He can't spend much time here with her, and honestly doesn't plan to, because with her vitals stabilized all he can do now is let her sleep. In the meantime, there's an entire city waged in violence and chaos that he needs to be out there to stem the flow of. Before he leaves again, though, Bruce decides to refresh his intel and update maps and information to the rest of the group...
