Inspired in part by this one deal with halieknife, in addition to the things aeryn42 has been doing lately (being mute isn't the same as being blind).

I like it. Much better than what I could have done. Reminds me a bit of Billy Corrigan, the smartest boy in the world.

Oh, and Mass Romantic is an amazing song. I like the end of medicine, too.

Billy Corrigan? You mean the Smashing Pumpkins/Zwan-Billy Corrigan? I imagine he probably is a pretty smart dude. He's smarter than me anyway..he's probably all jumping a pool filled with hungry sharks on his gold-plated motorbike as we speak, and I'm sitting here in the middle of nowhere with Ask Jeeves suggesting I may have misspelled my last name.

Ahem, but yeah..I have you to thank for all this! You gave me ideas..and, well, it goes without saying I like what you've been doing (especially the one where you and your friend suddenly went from black-and-white to color).

If a person doesn't like The New Pornographers, they just don't like music, straight up.

Very cool stuff. I've got this jumbo book about it...

It's very off the wall, isolation kind of stuff... It's set during the St Louis Worlds Fair, and it's interesting as hell.

I'll let you borrow it.

Well, I just looked at it briefly in Amazon..looks to be right up my alley. Were you talking about how good this was some time ago, like maybe when it came out?

I don't think I'm at the level of that artist, however what you're seeing from me here in this post is the first time I've picked up a pen and did anything like this - at least a serious attempt anyway - in several years, actually a decade. Suffice to say, I'm rusty..and already it looks as though with a little bit of practice a lot of it is coming back.

you rock, too. and i'm sorry i haven't said anything yet. this girl is awesome!

i hope you're doing well, these days. i'll be in austin in a month for good, and i would definitely like to catch up with you. remember when we went to the SOCO cafe? I think you had some type of buffalo stew and I had some veggie pasta and we had dessert because I got some extra bucks just for working for the owner? That was fun. I still have that red button down shirt I bought at New Bohemia. But I only wore it like once.
