no internets at the new place. quick update:
yes. i love and miss you all. if you're in denver, holla. i actually have been good about giving myself 'play time.'
teaching is fulfilling. exhausting. frustrating. wonderful.
my courses are so-so but my contested terrains course has spectacular readings that will contribute muchly to my research/thesis so that is good.
my spirits are high as a kite. lots of energy most of the time [except for yesterday and day before when I kind of crashed]
watching films. setting up my new digs. Mica cuddles with me again and sleeps with me every night.
new tires on my bicycle. gave him/her a bath today. hans moved back to denver and gave me some rad spoke cards.
miss my father. my mother. my family. but I got to see my stepfather!!! took him out for ethiopian food and shared laughs. stories. miss my babcia immensely.
planning my trip to Vietnam with Tron. excited about that.
sent out for a new passport with my name change today. hopefully will have it so i can visit my mother in her new place in Talpa, Mexico over Thanksgiving.
excited about garth coming to visit in less than a week - i'm thinking 3 days is simply not enough time but too late to do anything about that.
