I've been so busy but it's the good kind of busy
So I've got a lot to say about what I've been doing for the last couple of months. I think that I'll keep it short and in list form. Anyone can feel free to ask specific questions about any of the list points and I'll try to flesh them out in the comments fields.
Work:
I'm leaving the Booksmith on the 29th of June
They're still on the look out for a new children's buyer and section manager (who knew I was a section manager?)
They might end up hiring two people (heh...if my head swells up anymore I'll have to learn to walk through doorways sideways)
This will be my first non-Aim High summer in more than four years. I'm rather confused about what to do with my time.
Grad School:
I got in!
Back in February I heard from Islandwood a graduate residency on Bainbridge island just outside of Seattle (30 min ferry)
In May I heard back from the University of Washington so that my work at Islandwood will count directly to my transcript at UW.
Personal:
There's a guy but we're taking it so slow that snails are passing us by, maybe we're only friends with make out benefits we shall see.
I'm trying to be deliberate about seeing all my friends before I leave.
My brother's going to take care of Chloe my sweet kitty while I'm gone for a year.
