Well hi there!
Hi! My name is Adrea and I just recently joined this community. I really love this concept of sending and receiving postcards from random people.
What if really love to receive are cards that are interesting to you. Touristy cards are nice, but they are more fun if the picture on the front means something to you. For example, a postcard with the Tower Bridge in London is pretty...but it's not all that interesting. However, if it's where you had your first kiss 27 years ago....well now that's interesting.
I love the idea of catching little glimpses into someone else's life. So feel free to send me a little piece of you. A card with your favourite animal or a picture that caught your eye. Your favourite band or even a touristy shot of your favourite place to sit and read a book. Anything at all as long as its interesting to YOU. (Don't worry if its interesting to me. If it is to you, than it is to me too.) Just be sure to tell me what makes it mean something to you.
I got my first postcard today from "khaki". I love it! It was beautiful with a shot of a waterfall in Acadia where she once visited. It was a little bent and worn (all from travelling I'm sure) and it was perfect. Thank you.
