Update on who is active

I was wondering if we could do an updated active/inactive/people who no longer participate list.
I would like to send out Christmas posties to everyone, but it would be nice if we could see who is still active.
I wouldn't mind being responsible for writing out a post and making a list of who responded. I then could e-mail it to you so you wouldn't have to do all the work. All you would have to give is a warning to the people who don't respond and then delete them if it comes to that.
If you think this is a good idea please respond.
