Yeah. That's right. Okay, I did 100 modified pushups in a row, and they weren't quite perfect, but just last week I maxed out at 85. Today it was a cool 100 with room to spare.
I guess I'll keep working on perfecting the 100. And then start over doing regular pushups. Only, word from the physiologists is that women should NOT do a lot of regular pushups because it can mess up the shoulders (because of the way the bodyweight is proportioned). We'll see.
On a less pleasant note: I also had to go to Urgent Care today because I have what is possibly the worst sore throat ever. Apparently, it's not strep (which I kind of suspected since I have no fever). But when I looked at my throat with a flashlight last night, I knew a doctor was in my future. I'd describe it, but you'd just get grossed out. Suffice it to say that the doctor took a quick look and said, "I don't know if it's strep, but either way, I'm giving you antibiotics." What he didn't say (but was clearly thinking) was, "'Cause that's just nasty."
In other news, all kinds of other stuff has been going on that has been blowing my mind, and I don't know where to begin to post about it. This constant getting sick thing is ridiculous, but at least I have absolutely no other symptoms. It's just that I sneezed earlier today and it felt like my throat had ripped in two.
