I forgot to mention here that just before Christmas I got my hair cut (but about 6 inches) and dyed much blonder - well, not *very* blonde, but certainly not red like it was. It's kind of strawberry blonde because there's naturally so much red in my hair, but proper blonde when the light hits it. Anyway, since going back to work today it seems to have had a major impact on the kind of attention I'm receiving. Before I just got the normal sleazy comments, but now men are catching my eye and winking at me and all sorts. It's weird. On the plus side, I made more in tips today than usual on the bar. So I can deal, I guess!
I've been thinking a bit about 2009 today. There may be an entry about this later, since despite an abysmal ending it was actually a really good year for me. We'll see if it materializes!
First real shift back at work in just over a week was pretty good. Nothing of interest happened but it went quite quickly anyway. Otherwise, nothing to report!
